The President of Russia Vladimir Putin declared that the ideas of patriotism in Russia is so strong that nobody will be able to transcode the country.
"These ideals of patriotism is so deep and strong that nobody has ever succeeded and will not be able to transcode Russia to adapt their formats. We could separate, to tear off, to isolate from their roots and origins," he said.
Putin stressed that the great history of the country, its rich civilizational heritage of the feelings of Russians, inspire citizens to new achievements and discoveries, reports TASS.
According to him, June 12th is an important date in the history of Russia. "It was on this day exactly 25 years ago with the adoption of the Declaration on state sovereignty was the beginning of radical transformations in the country. They touched all aspects of life, political and social system, economic and social structures", — Putin said, stressing that the path of radical change was dramatic and complicated.
12 June Russia celebrates a national holiday — Russia Day. On the occasion of Vladimir Putin traditionally handed over in the Kremlin State prize 2014 for outstanding achievements in the field of science and technology, literature and art, as well as in the area of humanitarian action.
This year, the winners were seven people: scientists, academicians of RAS Evgeny Kablov, Gennady Krasnikov and Valery Tishkov, Director of the Museum-reserve "Tarkhany" Tamara Melnikova, Director Alexander Sokurov and actress Chulpan Khamatova. The award for outstanding achievement in the field of humanitarian Affairs awarded to the composer Alexandra Pakhmutova.
The main celebrations on the Day of Russia will take place in Moscow. On red square will show pageant "From Rus to Russia", in the parks recreation master classes, concerts, contests, competitions with the participation of Olympic Champions, Patriotic mobs, meetings, etc.
